netPanzer is an isometric view real-time tactical game designed for play across the Internet and over LAN systems. One on one games are possible via direct connect or modem. netPanzer is designed for FAST ACTION combat -- it is not another resource management clone. In fact, there aren't any resources at all. Each player will have many units of different types at their disposal.
Players can fight until their units are destroyed -- then respawn and keep on going. The game is real-time, but it's based on quick tactical action and unit management. Battles progress quickly and constantly; in fact, they never let up. There is no stop in the action because there is no waiting for resources to be collected and converted into weaponry. Players can join or leave multiplayer games at any time.

netPanzer est un combat de chars en 2D isométrique exclusivement multijoueur (jusqu'à 100 joueurs en LAN ou en ligne, pas d'IA) tactique temps réel.
Le jeu se concentre sur une action tactique rapide et la gestion d'unités en temps réel, aucune gestion de ressource n'est requise.
Les batailles progressent rapidement et constamment à mesure que les joueurs remplacent leurs unités détruites par d'autres.
Les joueurs peuvent joindre et quitter les jeux à n'importe quel moment.
Capturez et défendez les usines car elles vous fabriquerons des chars.

La dernière version est disponible en la téléchargeant via subversion (dans les dépôts) à l'aide de la commande :

COMPILATION DU SOURCE :
Installez ses dépendances via la commande :
Les bibliothèques SDL (voir la fiche "006 - Glossaire & licences courantes" du Bottin), automake, libphysfs-dev, jam, g++, gcc, scons (tous en dépôts).
Puis lancez en console dans le répertoire racine du source :
$ scons

💡️ Commentaires généraux:
Nous avons regretté :
• une résolution limitée au 1024x768, ça devient un peu juste sur les écrans actuels,
• le manque de bande sonore
Néanmoins ça reste un bon jeu.
